Guilt SUCKS. I miss my son when he's at daycare but I am also immensely grateful to have daycare to watch him so I can work my day job to help pay for my dreams/his future.
no recommendations as a childfree adult woman with a husband who helps WAY more than is socially acceptable.. but my colleague also struggled w/ this and having an office and that separation helped.

I totally agree men seem immune to this nearly constant guilt???! I don’t know if it’s hormones driving the guilt — could just be classic misogyny. It feels less innate and more societally-produced to me? Like it comes from the outside vs the inside.
A nanny you love is a huge gift for you and for Goldie! You deserve time for you too. (Easier said than done.) Good luck with the writing deadline!!!
